About me
Hi, I’m Machandel (pronounced Ma-han-del).
Up until a couple years ago, anxiety was a huge part of my everyday life. I had panic attacks, constant tightness in my chest, a racing mind, intrusive thoughts, I could barely eat or sleep, and the list goes on. I’ve been where you are right now, smiling to hide the pain, and looking for answers but not knowing where to turn. Before healing my nervous system, I didn't know life could be easy to enjoy. I constantly felt trapped, nervous and on edge. I know what it’s like to live with this “invisible illness” that nobody really seems to understand unless they’ve experienced it.
Today, I live completely free from anxiety and panic attacks, and getting to where I am today has honestly been my greatest accomplishment. Life is always going to present challenges, stressors, triggers and reasons to worry, but we can get to a place where we feel confident in our ability to navigate them. Healing the nervous system means getting our body to a place where it doesn't overreact to the world around us, and daily stressors start to feel quick and insignificant rather than huge and insurmountable.
Living anxiety-free has allowed me to enjoy a whole new perspective of the world around me, rather than constantly scanning my surroundings for danger. Colors seem brighter. People seem kinder. Most of all, now I feel that I can share my gifts and strengths with the world in a way that I never could before, and I want that for you, too.
